MJHL announces new mobile app available

WINNIPEG ─ The MJHL is launching a new mobile app this season, providing fans with real-time scoring data, game scores, schedules, standings, player and goal statistics. The mobile app is available for Apple and Android smart phones and tablets.

Downloading the new app is as simple as going to the application platform of a smart phone, and looking for the MJHL mobile app.

“This is another step forward in keeping our fans informed in real time,” Commissioner Kim Davis said today. “The new mobile app provides a variety of services. Users will also be happy to know the app is available for free.”

Other options available to users will be notifications for their favourite team, as well as two of their favourite players. A number of other junior leagues are currently using the same mobile app, notably the BCHL and Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

“The MJHL is continually looking for ways to enhance our information stream to fans and those interested in junior hockey,” said Davis. “This new MJHL app is another exciting step forward for our league.”

Davis also said that some items on the app are still undergoing development and changes to its appearance, and functionality will occur through the end of this season.
