The Yorkton Maulers of the Saskatchewan Male Under-18 AAA Hockey league have announced the hiring of local product Jason Gordon as their new Head Coach.
"His dedication to the game, strategic mindset and ability to inspire young athletes make him an excellent addition to the program," Mauler President Greg Donnelly said in the release.
Gordon (pictured above) brings a wealth of experience in coaching including the last numbers of years as the bench boss of the Yorkton Under-18 AA Terriers and currently this season as Head Coach of Sask East Oilers U18 AA program.
"I'm honored and I'm looking forward to the challenge in working with the talented players, staff and supportive community to build on the achievements and contribute to the development of these young athletes both on & off the ice", Gordon said.
Gordon takes over Darrell Mann who held the position for the last two seasons.
