The 2012/13 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey Alex Wakaluk has officially committed to University of Massachusetts-Amherst (Division 1) for the upcoming 2013/14 Hockey Season.
1993 born Bellevue, Alberta Product had a record of 28-15-3 and a 0.930 save percentage over this past season.
Wakaluk was recently apart of the the futures deal and was traded to the La Ronge Ice Wolves as apart of the Nathan Boyer/ Brennan Ritchie deal from this past season.

The Yorkton Terriers graduating forward and 20 year old Maple Ridge, BC product Patrick Martens has also committed for the upcoming season, he will suit up for Red Deer College (ACAC) after completing his final year of the Junior Hockey this past season.
Martens, who in his rookie season with the Terriers had 23 goals and 18 assists for 41 points, while adding 11 Goals and 2 Assists in their run to a Canalta Cup Title.
