The Fort Knox got back in the win column in a big way beating the visiting Regina Silver Foxes 8-5 on Friday night from the Fort Rexentre.

The Knox would get on the board first as Brady Third would get a loose puck off the end boards and bang home his 4th of the season to make it 1-0 Knox just 4:11 into the 1st. Sean Pilet would make it 2-0 just over half way through the opening period as he would snipe home his 5th of the year to make it a 2 goal game after 1 period with shots being 16-15 Knox.

The Silver Foxes would cut their deficit in half just 2:00 into the 2nd as Chris Belanger would bang home his 3rd of the season to make it a 2-1 game. But just 11 seconds later the Knox as Alex Saworski would knock home his 1st of the season to regain the 2 goal lead at 3-1. Logan Leslie would make 4-1 Knox just a short time later with his 8th of the season. Dyson Nordwick-Chan would cut the visitors within 2 with a PP goal to make it 4-2. Sean Pilet would add one in the final seconds, his 2nd of the night to make it 5-2 after 40 minutes.

Each squad would add 3 more in the 3rd period as the Knox would get 2 from Jordan Woods and 1 from Jarrett Metheral. Jarvis Gelowitz, Jayden Hansen and Drew Kocur would add markers for the Silver Foxes.

Shane Blomquist made 35 saves on 40 shots for the win while Kayne Parquet made 43 saves in the losing cause.
