A couple of local products were ranked in the final NHL Central Scouting rankings for this June's NHL Entry Draft.
Yorkton product Brett Kemp (pictured above right) is ranked 128th among North American skaters, while Foxwarren MB's Dawson Barteaux (pictured above left) is ranked 133rd.
Kemp had 17 goals, 19 assists for 36 points in 69 games with the Edmonton Oil Kings this past season while Barteaux who suited up with the Red Deer Rebels had 32 points in 64 games.
