The Steinbach Pistons are now one step closer to a Turnbull Cup title.
Drew Worrad had 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the Pistons to a 7-1 win over the Virden Oil Capitals in Game 5 last night (Thurs) of their Best of 7 series.
Austin Heidemann, Tanner Mole, Easton Bennett. Tyson McConnell and Braden Purtill also scored for the Pistons while Kolten Kanaski had the lone goal for the Oil Caps.
Virden will host Game number 6 of the Best of 7 series on Saturday night at Tundra Oil & Gas Place. Puck drop is at 7:30PM MB time.
