The MJHL's Waywayseecappo Wolverines added some experience to their forward group on Monday.
The Wolverines acquired 20 year old forward Mack Belinski from the Selkirk Steelers (MJHL) in exchange for 2003-born F prospect Tyson Smith, 2021 2nd round pick and future considerations.
Belinski, a Vista MB product had suited in 172 career regular season games with the Neepawa Natives and Portage Terriers compiling 53 goals and 75 assists for 128 points.
The Steelers acquired Belinski from the Terriers as part of a futures deal earlier this month, and with the Portage this past season he had 17 goals and 47 points in 60 games.
Meanwhile for Smith, he just completed his 2nd season with the Winnipeg Wild of the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey league where he had 23 goals, 33 assists for 56 points in 47 games during the 2019/20 campaign.
