STAMPEDERS 5,  BLUES 1

Aidan Taylor scored for his 1st career MJHL Hat-Trick to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 5-1 victory over the Winnipeg Blues.

Amar Powar and Riley Fequet also scored for the Stampeders who got 40 saves from Kyle Abrahamson to record his 1st MJHL victory.

Matthew Dewey recorded the only goal for the visitors.

The Stampeders return to action on Tuesday night entertaining the Dauphin Kings.

TERRIERS 2, BOMBERS 3 (SO)

Justin Lies scored the lone goal in the shootout to lead the Flin Flon Bombers to a 3-2 victory over the Yorkton Terriers at the Whitney Forum.

Brett Butz and Jaron Desnoyers scored for the Terriers, while Anthony Bax & Keefe Gruener replied for the Bombers.

The two teams exchanged goals in both the first and second periods.

Harmon Laser-Hume made 23 saves on 25 shots to earn the win for the Bombers while Terriers' G Adam Kelly was very good making 36 stops.

The two teams will meet once again on Sunday afternoon at 4:00PM on GX94.

HOUNDS 5, MILLIONAIRES 3


Kyle Kalamaras had a Hat-Trick while Alexander Hollands had 2G 1A to lead the Notre Dame Hounds to a 5-3 win over the Melville Millionaires.

The loss snapped the Moneymen's 5 game winning streak.

Johann Tremblay-Kau was the difference making 39 saves in the Hounds' net while Ethan Rau replied with 23 saves on 27 shots in the losing cause.

The Millionaires return to action on Tuesday night visiting the Battlefords North Stars on GX94.
