Stampeders deal away 20 year old's Fishley & Sauder in seperate deals

 



Ahead of Wednesday's trade deadline, the Swan Valley Stampeders have dealt away a couple more veterans over the weekend

First, the Stamps traded captain Ashton Fishley back to the Portage Terriers in exchange for future consideration before trading forward Trey Sauder & a 5th round pick to the Steinbach Pistons for a 3rd round pick & future considerations.

Fishley was acquired by Swan from Portage ahead of last season and suiting up in 95 career games compiling 40 points.  So far this season he had 6 goals and 23 points.

Meanwhile Sauder in his 3rd season with the Stampeders has 12 goals, 19 assists for 31 points in 33 games

In 158 career games with his hometown Stampeders, he had 123 points, including 50 goals.

MILLIONAIRES ACQUIRE 18 YEAR OLD D GOODWIN FROM WELLINGTON (OJHL)

The Melville Millionaires picked up 18 year old Logan Goodwin from the Wellington Dukes (OJHL) for a player development fee.

Goodwin, a Penticton BC product has scored 1 goal, 8 assists for 9 points in 32 games with the Dukes this season.

Previously he suited up with the OHA U18 Prep compiling 26 points.
