Former Millionaire helps Bentley win 2016 Allan Cup


 

The Bentley Generals capture their 3rd ever Allan Cup National Senior Hockey Championships on Saturday as they slipped by the Southeast Prairie Thunder, 4-3 in over time in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Carter Rigby scored the overtime winner at the 15:47 mark of the first overtime period.

Former Melville Millionaire Matt Stefanishion was a member of the Generals and led the tournament in goal scoring with 6 and also was named to the Allan Cup All-Star team.

The 33 year old from Dodsland, Alberta had 53 goals, 75 assists for 128 points in 112 career regular season games in the Blue and White.
