2015/16 Yorkton Terriers AGM Recap

The SJHL's Yorkton Terriers held their annual general meeting last night (Mon) at the Gallagher Center.

The Terriers announced at the meeting that their deficit was just over 40-thousand dollars from this past season.

"I think we were put behind the eight ball a little bit earlier as we were down around 100-150 season tickets, we can rationalize that, that we are a grey season ticket base, they can't get out to buy their season ticket or people weren't as excited above the team, Terriers President Dave Baron said in a interview this morning (Tues)

Baron also announced at the meeting that the Terriers bid for the 2018 RBC Cup came up a little bit short to the eventual winning bid from Chilliwack, BC.

"We were led to believe that is down to us and Chilliwack, and they liked some of things from our bid, but in the end Hockey Canada liked the bid from Chilliwack a little more, said Baron

Below is my full chat with Terrier President Dave Baron about the AGM.
