SJHL held their annual AGM this past weekend in Nipawin

Along with their draft, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League also held their scheduling and annual general meetings in Nipawin.

"The meetings went really well as always, we held the draft where all the teams were well organized and it went smoothly and then we met with the governors and coaches to try and make our league better", SJHL President Bill Chow said in a interview on Monday.

The SJHL has came out with a few changes for the 2016/17 season

--> Regular season Overtime will be moving from 4 on 4 to 3 on 3 for 5 minutes then followed by a shootout.

--> There will be a 1 60 second media time out around the 10 minute mark of each period.

Chow said "We thought about the 3 on 3 OT last year, but we needed it to pass it at our AGM to make it happen"
