Two Yorkton Terriers and one Melville Millionaire were rewarded for their big weeks with SJHL Player of the Week honors.
Terriers' forward Dustin Renas was named SJHL MVP of the Week, Terrier netminder Ethan Farrow was the SJHL Goalie of the Week, while Millionaires defenseman Boston Harkness took home SJHL Defenseman of the Week honors.
Renas, a Saskatoon product, continued his breakout campaign this weekend with four more points in the Terriers' weekend sweep against the Battlefords.
Meanwhile, Farrow played every minute of Yorkton’s two-game weekend sweep in Battlefords and has won four starts in a row, with save percentages north of .918 in each of those victories.
Harkness, in his third season with the Millionaires, contributed three points in two games over the weekend.
Other weekly award winners included Notre Dame Hounds forward Marko Djordjevic (Forward of the Week), Humboldt netminder Brady Holtvogt (Rookie of the Week), and Battlefords’ Braden Nienaber as Sask. Player of the Week.
