The Everett Silvertips traded 19-year old defenceman and Swan River, Manitoba product Evan Morden along with 18-year old goaltender Andy Desautels to the Prince Albert Raiders for 19-year old goaltender Cole Holowenko.
Morden in his 2nd season with the Silvertips scored 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points in 58 games in 2011/12, as well as registering 60 penalty minutes.
