McNulty; Wakaluk claim SJHL Weekly Player Honors

Ian McNulty, Melville Millionaires1992 F Ian McNulty (Brooks AB) appears to be back to full health and he dominated the SJHL again this past week with 4-goals and 3-assists in 3-games played. He began the week with a goal and an assist up in La Ronge and then followed it up with a pair of goals at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon to beat the Bombers on home ice. He capped it with a three point effort back on home ice against Melfort. McNulty, the SJHL scoring leader, has 13-goals and 29-assists in 28-games overall.

Alex Wakaluk, Melville Millionaires1993 G Alex Wakaluk (Bellevue AB) was superb in all three starts last week, going 3-and-0, and stopping 97-of-102 shots faced (.951 SPCT). He posted a 1.67-GAA for the week and was instrumental in helping the Mils win a tough road game in Flin Flon. For the season, Wakaluk leads the league in minutes played and is tied for the league lead in wins (15). His 2.29-GAA ranks second and his .930-SPCT is also second.

  1. The Mils better hope Wakaluk doesn't get hurt...because if he does....it will be a quick first round exit.
