The Melville Millionaires were able to break out of their offensive funk, but it wasn't enough as the Mils fell on home ice 6-5 to the visiting Nipawin Hawks.
Reed Murray (1G 1A), Allen Kilback (1G 1A) and Lane Harbor (2A) led the way for the Mils with 2 points each while Ben Mack & Greyson Reitmeier chipped in with the other Mils.
Carter Coben led the way for Nipawin with a 2 goal night including the game winner late in the 3rd on the PP.
Troy Trombley stopped 15 of 19 shots before being relieved by Casey Parker who turned away 13 of 15 Hawks shots. Hawks goalie Joe O'Brien was also pulled in the hockey game after he allowed 4 goals on 27 shots while Logan Flodell stopped 11 of 12 shots in relief.
The loss drops the Mils losing streak to now 3 games.
The Mils will host the front half of the Highway 10 home n home series this Friday against the Yorkton Terriers. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame 7:20, pxp at 7:30.
The Hawks will be in Yorkton tonight against the Terriers at 7:30 from the FAA.

In the interview Fiesel says "we brought one guy in" with regards to the upcoming deadline. Who is he referring to? I've found no recent transactions.
