The North Valley Eagles football team capped off their undefeated season with their biggest victory yet as the school captured their first provincial football championship with a 56-14 victory over the Gull Lake Lions in the SHSAA 1A 6-Man High School Football Provincial Final on Saturday in Gull Lake.
The Eagles also beat Hague 42-41 and Eatonia 52-26 to advance to the championship game.
GX94's Frank Block caught up with Eagles Head Coach Bob Mayo after the completion of the game on Saturday.
