Saturday Night Recap

The Swan Valley Stampeders had their record Drop to 9-12-2 on the season as they dropped a 4-2 decision to the Portage Terriers. 

Tristin Mullin and Linden McCorrister scored for the Stamps while Graham Hunt turned aside 34 shots in the losing cause. 

The Stamps next action will be on Tuesday when they visit the Virden Oil Capitals.

In the SJHL,

After a 4-1 victory on Friday night in La Ronge, the Melville Millionaires put together a disappointing effort the very next night as they were shutout 7-0 by the Flin Flon Bombers. 

Troy Trombley faced 58 shots in goal turning aside 51 of them, while the Mils were 0 for 7 on the PP. 

The Mils will try and get back on the win track on Tuesday night when they visit the Humboldt Broncos.
