Saturday Night Recap

The Melville Millionaires won their 2nd straight game as they defeated the La Ronge Ice Wolves 5-3. 

Lane Harbor led the way for the Mils with a hat trick while Brennen Miller added the other 2 for the Mils who got a 24 save performance from Troy Trombley for the win in goal. 

The Mils next action will be on Tuesday night when they visit the Estevan Bruins at 7:30.

Over in Moosomin, 

The Yorkton Terriers also won their 2nd in a row as they doubled up the Estevan Bruins 4-2 from the Moosomin Communiplex.

20 year old Dylan Johnson had 2 goals for the Terriers while Cortlan Procter and Josh Ellis had the goals for the Terriers. 

Dawson MacAuley made 39 saves for the victory. 

The Terriers next action will be on Tuesday night when they travel to take on the Weyburn Red Wings. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, Pregame 7:20, PxP at 7:30 from Crescent Point Place.

Over in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League,

The Swan Valley Stampeders got a 1G 2A performance from Nick Kobelka as they shaded by the Dauphin Kings 4-3. 

Bo Sigurdson and BJ Avery also scored for the a Stamps while Carter Johnson got the shootout winner. 
 
Lasse Petersen got the start and turned away 29 shots for the win in goal. 

The Stamps will go right back at it and will host the Steinbach Pistons on Sunday at 6PM.

The Wayway Wolverines dropped their 2nd straight on their road trip a 3-1 decision to the Winnipeg Blues. 

Brock Paddock had the lone goal for the Wolverines who got a 36 save performance in the loss. 

The Wolverines will wrap up their 3 games in 3 nights trip on Sunday visiting the Winkler Flyers for an afternoon matinee.
