Former Melville Millionaire Bykowski commits to Minot State

(Minot State Press Release)

With the Beavers losing goalie Connor Beauchamp this past season, the Beavers needed to fill an important spot.

The program is feeling very confident the spot has been filled in goaltender Josh Bykowski.

Bykowski comes to the Beavers after having a very successful year with the Portage Terriers this past season where he posted a 2.20 goals against average, with a .918 save percentage in 11 games.

Bykowski is a seasoned junior player who has played with the Whitecourt Wolverines, Melville Millionaires and the Portage Terriers the past three seasons.

He was a part of another championship caliber team who has just won back to back MJHL titles.

It is this experience Head Coach Wade Regier is excited to bring in. “Josh comes to us with an outstanding resume. He has played it all. He has been apart of a couple teams in the midst of rebuilds, to finishing his junior career as a champion. His big size and athletic ability is what really makes him an solid goalie. We look forward to bringing him in to our already stacked crease.”
