Four Women's rinks have pre-qualified for 2017 Viterra Scotties in Melville


CurlSask along with the Saskatchewan Women's Curling tour have announced the four teams that have pre-qualifed for the 2017 Viterra Scotties Tournament of Heart Women's Provincials to be held from January 24th- 29th, 2017 in Melville.

3 teams qualified for being the Highest ranked Sask teams on the Canadian Team Ranking System and those teams were Chantelle Eberle of Regina, Sherry Anderson of Saskatoon and North Battlefords's Robyn Silvernagle.

Meanwhile Kim Schneider's Kronau rink qualified from their ranking on the Saskatchewan Women's Curling Tour. 

Two more teams will be qualify from the Viterra Women's Challenge next weekend in Kindersley while the final 3 teams will be determined in the Last Chance competition that goes mid-January in Regina.

That will make up the new 9-team round robin draw for the Scotties that once again starts on January 24th at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
