The Melville Millionaires won the 2nd Highway 10 battle of the season Wednesday, defeating the Yorkton Cardinals 10-6.
This rare weekday matinee in the WMBL saw 600 fans pack Jubilee Park in Yorkton.
Marshall McPherson (pictured above) continued his hot start to the 2018 season, going four for five including a home run, his league leading 3rd of the season
The Texarkana ,Texas product also scored three runs and registered two RBI.
Melville is 3-1 on the year while Yorkton, now 0-4, and continues to look for their first win of 2018.
The Cardinals will be back in action tonight (Thurs) when they entertain the Swift Current 57's at Jubilee Park. Game time is at 7:05.
The Mils have the day off on Thursday before they host the Weyburn Beavers on Friday night at Pirie field.
