It was pretty successful event for a couple local skaters at the 2019
Canadian Tire National Figure Skating Championships in Saint John, New
Brunswick.
Shallen Bear of Skate Whitewood and Marty Haubrich of Skate
Esterhazy had two personal best scores in the Novice Pairs taking fourth
place overall.
Coaches Patty Hole of Skate Virden and Bev Pangracs of
Skate Esterhazy put the team together in June of 2018 and the two skaters who
have never skated Pairs before have been rising up the standings ever since.
