The Melville Millionaires and La Ronge Ice Wolves completed a 4-player trade on Thursday.
The Mils acquired 20 year old F Zach Bannister & 19 year old D Dylan Thackeray from the Ice Wolves in exchange for 19 year old D James Philpott & 20 year old F Booker Chacalias.
Bannister (Grande Prairie, AB) has 15 points in 20 games with the Ice Wolves last season.
Last season he finished 8th in in the SJHL scoring race with 28 goals, 42 assists for 70 points in 56 games.
Thackeray (White City, SK) is in his 2nd season with the Ice Wolves and has 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points in 12 games.
Philpott who hails from Calgary was in his 2nd season with the Mils after being acquired from Drumheller (AJHL) and in 40 games in Mils uniform he had 2G 17A for 19 points.
This season he had 12 points in 17 games.
Meanwhile Chacalias (Calgary, AB) had 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points in 17 games with the Moneymen, his 1st year in the SJHL.
The two teams will meet each other for their 2nd meeting of the season at the Mel Heglund Uniplex in La Ronge this Friday night.
