The Yorkton Terriers' got a much needed victory on Wednesday night, snapping their 2 game losing streak with 2-1 win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves at the Westland Insurance Arena.
JD Hall and Pavel McKenzie scored first period goals to pace the offence for the Terriers, while Trenton Curtis replied for the Ice Wolves.
Tommy Bouchard stop 28 of 29 shots for Yorkton to earn his 1st SJHL win, while Dawson Smith made 19 saves in the loss for La Ronge.
The two teams will meet once again on Saturday night in Yorkton, but before that the Ice Wolves battle the Melville Millionaires in the Rail City on Friday.
