Feez need to find a way to motivate these players...to many of the high end players are just floating around and not playing hard at either end of the ice...Side note - after 7 years maybe it's time to switch up the mils PP a little? it is terrible!!!!!!!!
Same old song and dance, it's been getting old for years now. Turning that stellar 03/04 team into a first round dud should have been a sign of things to come I guess. He's managed to make the playoffs consistently but he never seems to fully utilize the team's talent. The talk about injuries and illness (both happen to every team), lack of execution, guys not playing the system.....it's the same thing every year. Either he's been recruiting a bunch of free spirits every year for the last 8 years or the system just doesn't work in Canadian junior a hockey. It wouldn't hurt to try something different once in a while. Start throwing the puck in net and score greasy goals if that's what it takes. They aren't playing the perimeter by chance, their even strength play is exactly like the power play. Sure this team might be judged by their performance in the playoffs, but in the meantime it would be nice to correct the issues the team has and solidify home ice advantage.
