Terriers fall 4-0 in Flin Flon

The Yorkton Terriers outshot the Flin Flon Bombers 35-33 but it wasn't enough as they fell 4-0 to the Flin Flon Bombers on Tuesday. The Terriers had good chances but just couldn't get anything by reigning SJHL Rookie of the Year who was very good as he stopped 35 for his league leading 3rd shutout of the season. Connor Barrie got the start in net for the Terriers and stopped 29 of 33 but was tagged wth the loss. Konrad Litke, Dylan Balaski, Brett Boehm and Spencer Mault scored for the Bombers who improved their record to 17-4 on the season. While the Terriers record drops to 12-7-0-1 3rd place in the Sherwood 1 point behind the Notre Dame Hounds.

The Terriers finish 2 game Northern road trip on Wednesday when they visit La Ronge 7:20/7:30 on GX94 from the Mel Hegland Arena.

While in WayWay, the Wolverines scored 7 goals in the final 2 periods to defeat the Neepawa Natives 8-1. Kyle Threndyle led the way with 1 goals and 3 assists, while Cody Labrecque (2), Russell Turner, David Haaf, Brendan Luchinski, JJ Cruikshank and Matt Miller with the goals. Brett Pinkerton chipped in with 4 assists. Cory Simons 21 of 22 for the win.
