TJ Reeve got the lone goal for the Mils while Kelvin Walz got the Shootout winner to get the victory.
Isaiah Plett stopped 31 shots for the victory.
The Mils return to action Wednesday when they host Notre Dame.

The Swan Valley Stampeders lost their 1st game of their 3 game roadtrip as the fell 6-2 to the Portage Terriers.
Max Provencher and Jagger Thomas scored for the Stamps.
The Stamps will go right back at it on Saturday in Steinbach
