Mils drop preseason finale in Dauphin on Monday

The SJHL's Melville Millionaires finished up their preseason schedule with a 2-2 record after dropping a 7-0 decision on Monday night to the MJHL's Dauphin Kings.

Carter Eha had 2 goals to lead the Kings who got singles from Cole DeKonick, Braeden Young, Nakodan Greyeyes, Leeam Tivers and Avery Smith.

Kings netminder Matthias Smith made 28 stops for the shutout.

The Mils split their netminder duties with Hunter Adams getting the start allowing 4 goals on 15 shots before being relieved for Kaleb McEachern who made 19 saves on 22 shots.

Melville will now shift their focus to their 2019/20 SJHL regular season opener on Friday night when they visit the Yorkton Terriers. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, "Sask Milk" pregame show starts at 7:20 with PXP getting underway at 7:30 from the Farrell Agencies Arena.
