Couple Graduating Mils Players committed for Next Season
The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announced that 2 more of their graduating players will be continuing their hockey careers at the next level.
21 Year old forward and Winnipeg product Sam Williams will be playing for St. Scholastica Saints (NCHA) in Duluth, Minnesota while 20 year old netminder and Steinbach, MB native Isaiah Plett will be turning pro and playing with the Louisiana Ice Gators of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Williams who came over in a deadline deal with Flin Flon, scored 8 assists in 13 regular season games, and added 3 more points in the post season. Plett who was outstanding for the Mils all season especially in the playoffs had a 28-13-4 record during the season with 3SO's, a 2.37 GAA & 0.924 SV%. He then had a 7-5 record in the playoffs with a 1.86 GAA leading the Mils to a Canalta Cup Finals apppearance against the Yorkton Terriers.
