Hunt's 6 points power the Terriers past the Bruins 7-4


The Yorkton Terriers snapped their 8 game losing streak in a big way as 19 year old Riley Hunt (pictured above) had a 2G, 4A performance to lead the Terriers over the Estevan Bruins last night by a score of 7-4.

AP call-up Jared Legien, Joe Wilkinson & Paul Savage all got their 1st SJHL goals in the victory while Carson Cayer and Alex Cheveldave also chipped in with markers.

Dawson MacAuley made 32 saves for his 10th victory of the season.

The Terriers will host the front end of the home and home series with their Highway 10 rivals, the Melville Millionaires on Friday night. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame 7:20 pxp at 7:30 from the FAA.
