The Portage Terriers are your 2019 Anavet Cup Champions after they defeated the Battlefords North Stars 7-3 on Thursday night to capture their Best of 7 series, 4 games to 1.
Orca Wiesblatt scored twice for Portage who got singles from Ocean Wiesblatt, Chase Brake, Joey Moffatt, Kolton Shindle and Jay Buchholz.
Matthew Fletcher and Brett Gammer replied for the Stars.
The Terriers' now advance to the 2019 National Junior A Hockey Championships that begins May 11th in Brooks, Alberta.
