C Norrish's 4 points lead Terriers past Broncos 7-0

The Yorkton Terriers increased their winning streak to 4 games in a big way on Friday night as they hammered the Humboldt Broncos 7-0. 

The first 10 minutes of the game was very back and forth with the Broncos having some very good chances but Kale Thomson stood tall until the Terriers got 2 late goals in the 1st period off the sticks of Daylan Gatzke and Tayler Thompson to give the Terriers a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. 

The game would sit like that until the final 3 minutes or so as Chase Norrish and Gatzke ( his 2nd of the night) to increase the Terriers lead to 4-0 nothing after 2 periods. 

The Terriers who would take a 4-0 lead into the 3rd period of play, and then would add 3 more in the 3rd with 2nd goals of the games for Chase Norrish And Tayler Thompson yo give the Terriers a convincing 7-0 victory to move within 2 points of the Melville Millionaires for first place in the Viterra division and the SJHL. 

Yorkton was outshot in the game 33-26, as Kale Thomson stopped 33 shots for his league leading 7th shutout of the season while Cade Spencer stopped 19 In a losing cause. 

The Terriers will go right back at it on Saturday when they visit the Notre Dame Hounds at 7:00.

The Melville Millionaires had their 3 game win streak snapped as they were shutout 3-0 by the Notre Dame Hounds In Fort Qu'Appelle. 

Andrew Cummings led the way with 2 goals for the Hounds. Richard Palmer stopped 32 shots in a losing cause. 

The Mils will host the Humboldt Broncos at 7:30 At the HCUC
