Thomson shines as Terriers shutout Broncos 1-0

The Yorkton Terriers snap a 2 game slide on Friday night as they shutout the Humboldt Broncos 1-0 at the Elgar Peterson Arena. Tyler Giebel would get the lone goal of the hockey game with just over 5minutes to go in the opening frame taking a nice feed in front andgoing top shelf on Rylan Pashovitz for his 11th goal of the season togive the Terriers a 1-0 win.

The Broncos would take control and take alead in the shot column as well due to an abundance of penalties takingby Yorkton but the Terriers penalty kill did a very good job and also Kale Thomson was very sharp in the final 2 Periods.

Thomson would stop all 38 shots he faced for his 6th shutout of the season while Rylan Pashovitz stopped 26 of 27 in a losing cause. The Terriers next actionwill be on Saturday they host the Kindersley Klippers in a neutral site game in Esterhazy 7:30. ** for more info on tickets and info, refer tothe post below.**
