The Terriers would start off the game like they did one night ago by opening the scoring as Tyson Enzie would take a nice feed from Tayler Thompson in front for his 9th of the season to make it a 1-0 Terriers lead after 20 minutes.
In the 2nd, the Terriers would add to their lead when Brett Boehm's shot would beat Tyrell King for his 19th to make it a 2-0 Terriers lead. Just 2 minutes later, Newcomer Riley Hunt would cause a turnover at center ice and go in and go top shelf on King for his 1st SJHL goal to give the Terriers a 3-0 lead after way thru the 2nd. But that's when the Klipps PP would take over as they would be able to covert on 2 of their powerplay attempts in the 2nd half of period 2 as Jared Pilet and Connor Garden were able to get it past Riley Medves to cut the Terrier lead to 3-2 after 2.
It would stay like that until just under 4 minutes to go in the 3rd when Branden Lauder would get a nice bounce off the end boards to tie it up at 3-3. The Terriers would then have a glorious opportunity to win the game as they would have a 5 on 3 powerplay for almost a minute and a half but couldn't convert so it would head into overtime which solved nothing.
In the Shootout the first 5 shooters altogether from both sides would miss until Graham Lanigan snuck one thru Medves for The Shootout winner and a 4-3 Klippers win.
Tyrell King stopped 32 for the win Riley Medves making his 2nd straight start stopped 35 shots in a losing cause.
With the point the Terriers are now 4 points behind the Mils for top spot in the Viterra Division with a game in hand.
The Terriers next action will once again be on the road on Friday in Flin Flon before visiting the Nipawin Hawks on Saturday night.
