BJ Avery would open the scoring for the Stamps with his 6th of the season to give them an early 1-0 lead. But the Wolverines would come back with 2 late ones in the latter stages of the first by Johl Swedlo and Craig Fournier to give the visitors a 2-1 after 20 minutes.
In the 2nd, the Stamps would even it up quickly as Dylan Favell would get in alone behind the Wayway defence and slip it by Mitch Wiebe for his 13th to make it 2-2. Wayway would quickly respond and regain their one goal lead as Fournier would bang home his 2nd of the night to make it 3-2. It would stay like that until late in the middle frame when the red hot Nic Erb would cash in on his 26th of the season to make it 3-3 after 2.
Swan valley would come out in the third like a team possessed as they would score 2 quick goals in the opening 2 minutes of the sticks of Max Provencher and Brayden McDonald to make it a 5-3 Swan game. The Wolverines would make it interesting as Fournier would get his Hattrick goal to give them life and they would sit down a goal 5-4. But the Stamps would ice it as local product Cody Ellingson would grab a loose puck and go top shelf on Wiebe for his 1st MJHL goal to make it a 6-4 Swan final.
16 year old Lasse Pererson stopped 43 shots for the win while Mitch Wiebe turned aside 43 in a losing cause.
The Stamps will go right back at it on Saturday night as they host Justin Valentino and the Dauphin Kings at 7:30.

In the SJHL,
The Melville Millionaires rebounded In a big way after 2 losses to the Yorkton Terriers over the weekend as they hammered the Humboldt Broncos 8-2.
Allen Kilback led the way with a Hattrick and an assist while Simon Genereux, Reed Murray, Landon Farrell, Matt Carr and Colin Mospanchuk scored for the Mils.
Isaiah Plett stopped 31 shots for the win.
The Mils also will go right back at it on Satruday as they host the Weyburn Red Wings 7:30 HCUC.

The Yorkton Terriers also got back on the win track as they doubled up the La Ronge Ice a Wolves 4-2.
Tayler Thompson, Zack Zadarozniak, Dylan Johnson and Brady Norrish scored for the Terriers while Kale Thomson made 33 saves for the victory
The Terriers will finish off their 2 game roady on Saturday as they visit the Melfort Mustangs.
