Terriers move closer to league pennant as they rout Hounds

The Yorkton Terriers won their 2nd consecutive rout as they hammered the Notre Dame Hounds 6-0 on Wednesday night in their final home game of the regular season.

Brett Boehm led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists while Kailum Gervais, Matt Cox, Tayler Thompson and Riley Hunt scored for the Terriers. Kale Thomson stopped 18 shots for his league leading 8th shutout of the season.

The Terriers just need a single point in their final 2 games of the season to clinch the number 1 seed.

The Terriers will finish off their regular season with a 2 game road trip Friday and Saturday starting Fri. In Flin Flon before meeting the Humboldt Broncos on Saturday night.
