Swan Valley snaps losing streak with win in Wayway.

The Swan Valley Stampeders snapped their 2 game losing streak on Sunday night with a 4-1 win over the Wayway Wolverines.

The Stampeders got off to a very good start in the 1st as Jesse Norling's Long shot from the point would beat Mitch Wiebe for Norling's 1st Mjhl goal to give Stamps a 1-0 lead. They would make it 2-0 before the end of the 1st as Max Provencher would take a nice feed from Justin Valentino for his 9th of the year.

In the 2nd it would start as did the 1st as Dylan Favell and Max Flanagan would get two more quick goals for the Stamps to give them a 4-0 lead. The Wolverines would show some life as Robert Briem would get the Wolves on the board short handed for his 6th of year to make it 4-1 but that's as close as they would get,

The third period would go scoreless with both teams having their fair share of chances.

Nathan Armstrong got the start for the Stamps and stopped 28 of 29 shots for his 3rd win of the season while Mitch Wiebe stopped 24 shots for the Wolverines in a losing cause.

The two teams next action will be on Wednesday when they play each at 7:30 mb time from the Centennial Arena in Swan River.
