Saturday Night Recap

The Yorkton Terriers dropped their 2nd straight in regulation as they lost 3-2 to the Nipawin Hawks.

Tyson Enzie and Brandon Sookro scored for the Terriers while goaltender Dawson MacAuley was busy in the loss stopping 51 shots. 

The Terriers' next action will be next Saturday when they visit the Humboldt Broncos.

Meanwhile in Melville

Former Melville Millionaire Richard Palmer stopped 31 shots to lead the Melfort Mustangs over the Melville Millionaires 4-2. 

Landon Farrell and Greyson Reitmeir (1st SJHL goal) had the goals for the Mils while Sean Keuhn made 25 saves in a losing cause. 

Mils will hit the road for their next action when they visit the Estevan Bruins on Thursday night. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hocley, Pregame 7:20 PxP at 7:30 from Affinity Place.

In the MJhL, 

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their 2nd straight on their 3 game road trip a 6-2 loss to the Winnipeg Blues.

17 year old Lasse Petersen made his 1st start of the season and stopped 17 shots in the loss.

Nick Kobelka and Carter Johnson had the goals for the Stamps.

Swan Valley will conclude their 3 game trip on Sunday in Selkirk at 2:30

The road trip has also not been kind for the Wayway Wolverines as they were blanked 4-0 by the Winkler Flyers. 

Tristain Keck had 2 goals and Shawn Patchet chipped in with 4 assists for the Flyers.

Justin Holder make 20 saves in the loss for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines next action will be on Tuesday when they host the Winnipeg Blues.
