Ben Dalke would give the Oil Caps their first 2 goal lead as he sniped home his 24th of the season to make it 3-1. The two teams would exchange late goals by Colton Brausen (SV) & Devan Schram (VIR) and it would end as the Oil Caps got their 33rd win of the season a 4-2 decision in Swan River.
Sean Keuhn made 21 saves to get the win in goal for Virden while Zach Degraves made 12 saves on 13 shots before he was relieved by Brett Evans for the final 40 minutes and he made 19 saves on 21 shots.
The Stamps remain 2 points up on OCN for 6th place in the standings and they will return to action on Friday when they visit the Selkirk Steelers.
