The Swan Valley Stampeders' dropped their MJHL Preseason opener on Monday
night, falling 6-1 to the Dauphin Kings at Credit Union Place.
Dauphin product Garrett Hrechka led the way for the Kings with a 4 point night (1G 3A) while Ben Hackl had 2G 1A and Zach Turner, Matthew Ramsey and Slade Stanick chipped in with singles.
2004-born prospect Ekam Dhaliwal replied with the lone goal for Swan who
featured a roster of all 2004 and 2005 born players.
The Stamps' split their goaltending duties with Darby Tipton turning aside
22 of 24 shots before relieving to Tressor Wotton who made 29 saves on 33 shots.
The Stampeders' continue their preseason on Friday night when they visit
the OCN Blizzard while Kings will host Neepawa on Sunday evening.
