The Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Swan Valley Stampeders' held their annual general meeting last night (Wed), and it was announced the team earned a profit from the 2021/22 season.
"We had a profit of just over $31,000 from the past season, we were able to stick closely to our budget & hit all of our fundraising plus we had a pretty healthy crop which us bring in a bit more revenue than we expected," President and Governor Cramer Coulthart said.
Also from the meeting, the Stampeders' saw two board members resignin Kim Kosokowsky and Brian Gilroy, while adding a new member, alumni Evan Morden.
Coulthart noted that the hockey operations staff returning include Head Coach/GM Barry Wolff, Athletic Therapist Kate Wiens, Head Scout Mitchell Kirkup while new full-time Assistant Coach will be announced shortly.
