The Swan Valley Stampeders got back on the win track as they defeated the Virden Oil Capitals 3-2 in the shootout on Friday night.
Max Provencher and Dylan Hykawy scored the Stamps goals in regulation while Max Flanagan got the lone goal in the shootout for the victory.
Nathan Armstrong stopped 39 of 41 shots between the pipes in a winning cause. The Stamps will finish off their pre-Christmas schedule tonight (Sat) when they host the defending champion Steinbach Pistons 7:30 from the Centennial Arena.
