Successful Saturday Night

The Yorkton Terriers got back on the win track tonight as they shutout the Melfort Mustangs 3-0 at the FAA.

Josh Ellis scored 2 goals (both into the empty net)  to lead the way for the Terriers while Devon McMullen notched the other for the Terriers. 

Kale Thomson stopped 23 for his 3rd shutout of the season. Terriers return to the ice Friday when they host Nipawin 7:30 FAA.

Also in the SJHL,

The Melville Millionaires made it a clean sweep of their 2 game Northern roady as they dumped the Flin Flon Bombers 5-3 at the Whitney Forum. 

Kelvin Walz, Colin Mospanchuk, Alex Devillier, Cole Berreth and Reed Murray all scored for the Mils while Isaiah Plett stopped 27 shots for the victory. 

The Mils return to home ice on Tuesday when they entertain Notre Dame 7:30 HCUC.

In the MJHL, 

The Swan Valley Stampeders won their 2nd straigh in a big way as they defeated the Neepawa Natives 5-0. 

Carter Johnson and Nic Erb both led the way in the goal department with 2 goals each, while Max Flanagan scored the other. Max Provencher chipped in with 3 assists. 

Nathan Armstrong turned aside 22 shots for his 1st MJHL shutout. 

The Stamps will visit Wayway on Tuesday. Pregame 7:20, PXP at 7:30 on GX94
