Surrey's Kim captures 2015 edition of Canadian Junior Girls Golf Championship in Yorkton

It was a smooth sailing and composed final round for Surrey BC's Michelle Kim (pictured above) as she fired a even par 73 to help her capture the 2015 Canadian Jr. Girls Golf Championship that wrapped up earlier today (Fri) at Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton.

The 17 year old Kim had 3 birdies and 3 bogeys in her 4th round to hold off fellow Surrey, BC product Hannah Lee who made a charge by shooting a final round of 2 under 71 to finish 2 shots off the pace.

Another BC golfer rounded out the top 3 as Victoria's Naomi Ko finished in 3rd at -3.

Two Saskatchewan products were left in the field and the top finisher was Prince Albert's Brooke Hobson who shot a final round of 8 over par 81 to finish in a tie for 28th. Fellow PA golfer Kayla Sawchuk fired her best round of the week, a 4th round of 80 finishing up in a tie for 62nd.
