Wolverines acquire Cullum & Cameron from the OCN Blizzard

                                                                       (Brayden Cullum)

The Wayway Wolverines have swung a trade with OCN Blizzard to bring a player closer to home.

The Wolverines acquired Russell product & forward Brayden Cullum (96)  and the rights to F Matthew Cameron from the Blizzard for F Shane Roulette (97) & a conditional 6th round pick.

Cullum had 5 goals, 3 assists for 8 points in 57 games for the Blizzard in 2014/15 while Cameron played last season with Prairie Junior Hockey League's Ochapowace Thunder where he finished 2nd in league scoring with 32 goals, 54 assists and was also named the League's Most Valuable Player.

"Cullum has been improving every year and now has 1 year of Junior under his belt, and when there was chance to get his rights & Matthew Camerons who had an exceptional year in Junior B in Saskatchewan we jumped at the opportunity" said Wayway Head Coach/GM Barry Butley,

Roulette, a Winnipeg MB product had 1 goal, 4 assists in 31 games with the Wolverines this past season.

I chatted with Wolverines Head Coach/GM Barry Butler to recap the trade.
