The Swan Valley Stampeders have made another deal as they have sent leading scorer Tristan Mullin (96) and future considerations to the BCHL's Powell River Kings in exchange for D Ross Hnidy (96) & F Adam Tracey (95).
The Cartwright, MB product had 24 goals, 28 assists for 52 points in 58 games in his first year as a Stampeder last season. Mullin (pictured above) came over after the 2013/14 season as part of the futures that sent former Stampeder Captain Justin Valentino the Dauphin Kings.
Stamps Head Coach/GM Erik Petersen says "Tristan expressed interest early this off season. that he wanted head out to BC, then the next step was to try and get some value back for him
Petersen also added: "Tristan is a great kid off the ice, and very smart hockey player who has the goal of becoming a Division 1 player and we wish him nothing but the best"
In the return, the Stamps receive a couple big bodies to add to their line up.
Hnidy (pictured above right) is a 6'0, 220 lbs Saskatoon product who had 2 goals, and 10 points with Kings last season. He also some WHL experience playing 29 games with Saskatoon Blades.
Tracey (pictured above left) is a 6'2 190 lbs forward who hails from Sleepy Hollow, New York and had 7 goals & 8 assists for 15 points in 43 games split between the Kings & Merritt Centennials
