Lee fires 66 to take lead after opening round of Canadian Jr. Girls Golf Championships

There was 7 players under par in yesterday's opening round of the Canadian Junior Girls Golf Championships, but Surrey BC's Hannah Lee was the best of the bunch. The Surrey BC product shot a 1st round of 7 under 66 at the national championship taking place at Yorkton's Deer Park Golf Course. Fellow BC golfer Kathrine Chan is 3 shots back after a 4 under 69.

Prince Albert's Brooke Hobson is the top Saskatchwan golfer in a tie for 12th after a 1 over par 73. Melville's Chloe Sies sits in a T63 at +10 after an opening round of 83.

Round 2 of the tournament will go today.
