Mils & Terriers both win their 4th straight game on Friday night

The Melville Millionaires won their 4th straight game on Friday night a 2-1 win over the Battlefords North Stars.

Nathan Boyer opened the scoring for the Mils just under 3 minutes into the 1st to give the Mils a 1-0 win after 1 period of play.

Michael Sagen would open the scoring in the middle frame on the Powerplay with a beauty goal top shelf on Connor Creech for his 11th goal to give the Mils a 2 goal lead. Kyle Hall would get the North Stars the scoreboard on the Powerplay to make it 2-1 and that's all the scoring in the game.

Alex Wakaluk was outstanding once again stopping 35 shots while Connor Creech stopped 31 in a losing cause.

The Mils will next be action on Tuesday when they visit the Weyburn Red Wings 7:30

The Yorkton Terriers also won their 4th straight a 4-2 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds.

Tyler Giebel led the way with 2 goals while Curtis Oliver and Brenden Poncelet also scored for the Terriers who got 31 saves from Dawson McAuley in the victory.

The Terriers will get right back at it Saturday when they host the Weyburn Red Wings 7:30 FAA

  2. I think it is 4th straight these last 4 wins but they lost in Humboldt in the rescheduled game
