Tuesday Night Local Jr. A Recap

The Swan Valley Stampeders' point streak now sits at 4 after 5-4 overtime win over the Dauphin Kings on Tuesday night.

Jesse Lawrence had the OT winner while Gavin Froese, Josh Tripp, Carter McMurdo and Trevor Mann also scored for the Stamps.

Brett Evans got the win in goal making 29 saves for Swan.

The Stamps/Kings will go right back at it on Wednesday night in Swan River at 7:30.

Also in the MJHL,

The Wayway Wolverines fell on home ice 8-1 to the defending National champion Portage Terriers.

Ty Enns scored his team leading 11th goal of the season to provide the only offence for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines will start a 2 game, 3 night road trip on Friday night when they visit the Steinbach Pistons.


The Melville Millionaires outshot Notre Dame 36-28 but they fell their 2nd straight on the road 4-1 to the Notre Dame Hounds.

Jaden Kreklewich's 1st goal of the season was the only offence for the Moneymen who got 24 saves from Brandon Wells in the loss

The Mils will now head up north for a couple starting on Friday when they visit the La Ronge Ice Wolves at 7:30.
